FixieLIVE turns preset management into a complete working environment for

BigSky MX and TimeLine MX.

Build a searchable Folder → Album → Preset library, save sounds from either

pedal, create backups, and drag presets directly into exact destination slots.

Select multiple presets and drop them onto a starting slot to upload them

across consecutive destinations—ideal for set preparation, album transfers,

and reorganizing a complete rig.

FixieLIVE also converts original-generation TimeLine and BigSky presets,

including supported Nixie album structures, into MX-ready library files.

Because the MX pedals do not reproduce every legacy algorithm and parameter

identically, converted sounds should be reviewed before performance use.

Load a supported preset into Live Control and adjust the pedal from the app.

TimeLine MX controls include Delay Type, Time, Repeats, Filter, Grit,

Speed / Param 1, Depth / Param 2, and Mix. BigSky MX controls include Reverb

Type, Decay, Pre-Delay, Tone, Mod, Param 1, Param 2, and Mix. Changes are sent

automatically; saving creates a recovery copy before Fixie writes and verifies

the destination.

FixieLIVE uses the same library as Fixie FREE, so upgrading preserves the

folders, albums, presets, and organization you have already built.

Best For

Players, sound designers, worship teams, touring rigs, and studio users who

manage larger preset libraries or need conversion, fast set-building, batch

placement, and supported live controls. Why cant I just use Strymon's free software?

You can and I highly recommend it. However, the Timeline MX is currently not supported and Nixie2 is still in public beta for Bigsky MX. Not calling shots, but the timeline (no pun intended) from the Bigsky MX release to support in Nixie2 was 14 months. You are more than welcome to wait for the official released version from the manufacture to support your hardware investment. Fixie just bridges the gap until then. Strymon does not support preset conversion in their software release; in Fixie, preset conversion is the closest estimation as presets cannot always be converted 1:1. Why are you charging for this? There is a cost for development. You are investing in my time and resources to continue support for this and other projects. This is why I have provided a FREE version that does the basics to support the community. As mentioned above, you are welcome to wait for the Official Strymon release.

Download and Installation

Digital download; no physical product or pedal hardware is included. The

download contains a self-contained universal macOS application.

FixieLIVE is beta software and requires acceptance of the included beta

license before first use. Current beta packages are not Apple-notarized.

macOS may require you to Control-click the application, choose **Open**, and

confirm the first launch.

Beta and Conversion Notes

- Back up your pedal before critical sessions or performances.

- Review converted presets because legacy and MX algorithms are not always

identical.

- Live-control behavior can vary by pedal algorithm and remains a beta

feature.

- Do not run Fixie FREE and FixieLIVE simultaneously while they share the

library or access the same pedal.

- The FixieLIVE beta license does not permit redistribution.
